Saturday, October 24 was the Ontario Power Generation sponsored “Take Pride in Pickering” tree planting event in Alex Robertson Park. In a few short hours, hundreds of volunteers were able to plant over 600 trees and shrubs along the park’s naturalization area and wildlife corridor on what turned out to be a beautiful day!
