On September 13, 2009 children, families and nature lovers witnessed the natural phenomenon of butterfly migration at the first ever “Butterfly Migration Festival” at Tommy Thompson Park. The hands-on conservation event was sponsored by Toronto Region Conservation, Ontario Nature and OPG Biodiversity 2009.
