On Saturday, May 23, OPG and Ontario Nature partnered with the Toronto Region Conservation Authority to celebrate International Biodiversity Day at Tommy Thompson Park. Over 2,000 visitors came out to enjoy a day for the birds. They got up close and personal with our feathered friends during an early morning bird hike and live bird branding demonstrations. They also helped build bird boxes and heard from the bird experts, including renowned ecologist Dr. Bridget Stutchbury.
